Job summary

The South African Breweries seeks an experienced Stock Controller to manage finished goods inventory across the logistics chain, ensuring SAP accuracy, quality standards, and proper governance. The role includes counting, discrepancy investigations, and sign-off procedures to support reliable stock reporting.

Responsibilities cover FG QC, inventory movements, and risk governance, with emphasis on blockings, obsolescence handling, and accurate documentation in line with policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a Stock Control environment required.
• Knowledge of Stock Control Processes essential.
• MS Office proficiency required.
• Attention to detail and strong problem solving needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage FG inventory in SAP and ensure quality standards.
• Conduct independent inventory counts and reconcile with SAP.
• Maintain documentation and governance with proper sign-offs.
• Monitor packaging, gate sheets, and SKU/bin cards as per policies.
• Support inventory movements and cost controls within the supply chain.
