Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd is seeking a professional, energetic Waiter to join a luxury hospitality establishment in Franschhoek, South Africa. The role focuses on delivering a fine dining experience with warm, discreet, and efficient service.

You will master the menu and wine list, upsell accordingly, and ensure impeccable table settings and service standards throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ waitering experience in a fine dining environment.
• Sound knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverages.
• Proficiency in POS systems (Easipos advantageous).

Responsabilités

• Greet guests warmly and professionally.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.
• Understand the sequence of service and anticipate guest needs.
• Be aware of table allocations, dietary requirements, allergies and special requests during service.
• Inform the kitchen of guest food requirements or allergies.
• Know the menu and wine list to confidently assist guests.
• Sell dishes and wines through upselling.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Set up and reset tables to establishment standards.
• Enter all transactions into the Easipos system.
