Job summary

Metropolitan in Lydenburg, Mpumalanga, seeks an energetic Financial Advisor to attract, acquire and retain clients. You will deliver tailored financial products and advice to enhance clients’ financial wellness while upholding FAIS standards.

The role requires Matric/NQF4, 2+ years in sales or customer service, and insurance/financial services experience. A driving license and own transport are advantageous for field work.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent NQF 4
• 2 years’ experience in sales or customer service
• 2 years’ experience in insurance/financial services providing financial advice (advantageous)
• Compliance with FAIS Fit and Proper requirements
• Finance or business-related tertiary qualification (desirable)
• Driver’s license and own transport (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective clients to highlight product features based on financial wellness needs.
• Sell products aligned with client needs after affordability analysis.
• Advise on tax and legal implications of products and changes.
• Capture client information and sales accurately in systems.
• Complete all administrative and reporting within agreed timeframes.
• Achieve targets on production, quality and conversion.
• Maintain compliance with sales processes and legislative requirements.
• Provide financial advice aligned with engagement strategy to enhance client wellness.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
