Placements24 invites a highly experienced Management Consultant to lead Financial Transformation projects from the Port Elizabeth office. The role is hybrid, collaborating with clients across sectors to overhaul finance operations and implement new systems for improved reporting and planning.

Required 4-6 years in finance/consulting, with IFRS/GAAP knowledge and ERP/EPM experience (SAP/Oracle/Workday). CA(SA)/ACCA/CIMA advantageous; bachelor’s in related field.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial consulting, with a focus on transformation.
• Proven experience in financial process improvement, system implementation, or financial shared services.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and financial management best practices.
• Experience with financial software such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar ERP/EPM systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with finance professionals at all levels.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is essential.
• Professional qualifications such as CA(SA), ACCA, or CIMA are advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess current financial processes, systems, and organizational structures.
• Design and implement future-state financial operating models, including process improvements and technology solutions.
• Support clients in the selection and implementation of financial management software (e.g., ERP, EPM systems).
• Develop business cases for financial transformation initiatives, quantifying benefits and costs.
• Manage project streams related to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury functions.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for client finance teams.
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of financial solutions.
• Prepare detailed documentation, presentations, and reports for client stakeholders.
