Job summary

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12).
• BCom Accounting degree or equivalent.
• BCom Honours or CTA preferred.
• CA(SA) chartered accountant status advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and consolidation.
• Drive budgeting and rolling forecasting processes.
• Analyse financial performance and translate variances into actionable recommendations.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital.
• Oversee treasury, financing structures and inter-company funding.
• Identify and manage key financial risks, including currency, interest rate and credit exposure.
• Ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance, governance and statutory requirements.
• Oversee internal and external audit processes; maintain robust controls.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
• Provide financial insight to Executive Management for strategic decisions.
• Lead financial projects, investigations and process improvements.

Experience:

• 5–12 years’ finance experience, ideally within a medium to large organisation.


• Strong experience across financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.


• Proven experience managing finance teams and engaging with executive/board-level stakeholders.


• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, internal controls and audit processes.


• Experience within a diversified industrial, equipment supply or manufacturing group would be advantageous.


• Exposure to group treasury, financing and inter-company accounting structures.


• Experience with financial systems, ERP consolidation or reporting automation.
