Job summary

Authentic Life Connections is seeking a Finance leader in Gauteng to own debtors and creditors, manage treasury, and oversee liquidity and FX exposure. The role includes leading a small finance team, driving process improvements with advanced Excel, and ensuring strong controls and audits.

A CA(SA) background is preferred with 4+ years in relevant finance roles. Responsibilities span monthly reporting, budgeting, variance commentary, and ensuring timely documentation for audits, while delivering

Qualifications

• CA(SA) preferred
• At least 4 years' finance experience in a working capital, treasury or financial control environment, including 3+ years leading a team
• Genuine, hands-on experience with debtors, creditors, banking, cash flow and reconciliations in a busy environment
• Exposure to foreign exchange or intercompany loan management is a nice-to-have
• Advanced Excel skills, and a natural instinct for improving how things are done
• A warm but firm leadership style, comfortable holding a team accountable while still bringing people along with you

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of debtors and creditors, including collections and onboarding
• Manage day-to-day treasury and banking activity, including cash flow forecasting
• Handle foreign exchange administration, keeping an eye on currency exposure and explaining the impact of rate movements
• Keep bank, cash, clearing and control account reconciliations current and well investigated
• Manage intercompany loan balances and confirmations, resolving differences and keeping documentation audit-ready
• Look after financial controls and governance, catching gaps early rather than at audit time
• Contribute to monthly reporting, budgeting and variance commentary
• Support internal and external audits, with documentation ready well ahead of deadlines
• Lead, coach and support a small finance team, helping them grow into the role alongside you
• Look for ways to make processes smoother and more efficient, using strong Excel skills to lighten the manual load

Remuneration

R 750 000 - R 850 000 per annum, plus vehicle and petrol card
