Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Financial Director to join the executive leadership team in Johannesburg. You will lead the finance function, drive the financial strategy, and ensure accurate financial statements and reporting.

You will oversee management accounting analytics, optimize capital structure, manage financial risk, and ensure regulatory compliance while building strong cross‑company relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration or related field.
• CA(SA) or similar is advantageous.
• Experience in financial services or banking essential.
• Senior financial leadership experience, e.g. Finance Director or CFO.
• Strong understanding of financial management, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive performance.
