About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Financial Controller to lead their finance department in the prestigious business hub of Sandton . You will be instrumental in guiding the financial strategy of the organization and ensuring its financial health and stability. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Manage the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Develop and implement robust internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and safeguarding of assets.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking institutions.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent professional designation.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS, South African accounting standards, and tax regulations.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
