Placements24 is seeking a strategic and experienced Financial Controller to lead finance operations in Randburg. This senior role oversees all accounting functions, ensures accurate financial reporting, and strengthens internal controls to safeguard assets.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, provide strategic insights to senior management, and manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisers and banks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional qualification such as CA(SA), ACCA or CIMA is essential
• 7–10 years of accounting/finance experience, with 3–5 years in a managerial or controller role
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, SA tax laws and financial regulations
• ERP experience (SAP or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
• Proven leadership, analytical and strategic planning capabilities

• Manage and direct all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and cost accounting
• Oversee timely and accurate financial statements, management reports and regulatory filings
