Job summary

Tsebo Facilities Solutions is seeking a highly analytical Financial Controller to join our finance team. This role focuses on accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong controls, and partnering with operational stakeholders to drive profitability and informed decision-making.

You will lead the month-end close, review P&L accuracy with variance analysis, and present management reports to senior stakeholders. The role requires a BCom degree and hands-on ERP experience, preferably D365.

Qualifications

• BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong understanding of income statements and their impact on business performance.
• Experience working on D365 or a similar ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Review profit and loss statements and provide detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare and present monthly management reports to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain and strengthen financial controls, governance processes, and compliance standards.
• Monitor adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and support effective working capital management.
• Review and track CAPEX expenditure against approved budgets.
• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights that improve business performance and profitability.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
