Job summary

The Recruitment People is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to lead the finance function for the Group in Gauteng. You will drive financial controls, reporting, and compliance while developing a high-performance team in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires a postgraduate qualification, CA(SA)/SAIPA/ACCA/CIMA preferred, and at least five years' experience as a Finance Manager, with advanced Excel and financial systems expertise.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification required.
• CA(SA), SAIPA, ACCA or CIMA (preferred).
• 5 years' experience as a Finance Manager.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems experience.
• MDA experience will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring accountability and high performance.
• Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes.
• Implement and improve financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Review journals, reconciliations, VAT, and statutory compliance.
• Oversee cash flow, treasury, and accounts payable functions.
• Manage the annual audit process and financial statement preparation.
• Support the Head of Finance with financial reporting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
