Job summary

iMas Insurance Brokers in Gauteng seeks a driven sales consultant to promote and sell the IMAS Funeral Insurance product to members, ensuring they receive suitable and affordable cover.

You will build lasting member relationships, achieve sales targets, provide compliant financial advice, and submit accurate new business documentation in line with FSCA regulations. The role offers a base salary with uncapped commission.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• FAIS credits on NQF level 4.
• RE5 certification is required.
• At least 1 year sales experience, preferably in the Financial Services Industry.
• Code 8 SA drivers licence (manual).

Responsibilities

• Market and sell IMAS Funeral Insurance products to members.
• Conduct comprehensive client needs analyses to identify appropriate funeral cover solutions.
• Provide compliant financial advice in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Service and support new and existing members to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure the accurate completion and submission of all new business documentation.
• Conduct quality control checks on all applications to ensure completeness and compliance.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with members through ongoing engagement and service.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell appropriate financial products and services.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
• Maintain accurate client records and administrative documentation.
• Deliver professional customer service while upholding the values and reputation of IMAS Funeral Insurance

To promote and sell IMAS Funeral Insurance product to members ensuring that members receive appropriate and affordable funeral cover solutions. Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric/Grade 12
• FAIS credits on NQF level 4 as per FSCA legislative requirements
• RE5 as per FSCA legislative requirements
• At least 1 year proven sales experience, preferably in the Financial Services Industry
• Code 8 Valid SA Drivers Licence (manual transmission)
