Job summary

iMas Insurance Brokers is seeking a Sales Advisor to promote and sell IMAS Funeral Insurance products to members in Gauteng. You will focus on generating new business, maintaining strong member relationships, meeting sales targets, and delivering compliant financial advice.

The role requires matric, FAIS credits, RE5, and a valid Code 8 driver’s licence, with a goal of high quality service and upholding company values.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 required or equivalent.
• FAIS credits on NQF 4 per FSCA requirements.
• RE5 regulatory compliance certification required or in progress.
• Code 8 driver's licence is mandatory for field-based sales.

Responsibilities

• Market and sell IMAS Funeral Insurance products to members.
• Conduct needs analyses to identify suitable funeral cover.
• Provide compliant financial advice per regulatory requirements.
• Service and support members to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Accurately complete and submit new business documents.
• Perform quality control on applications for completeness and compliance.
• Build long-term relationships with members through ongoing engagement.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell related financial products.
• Meet individual sales targets and contribute to growth.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.

Job Purpose:

To promote and sell IMAS Funeral Insurance product to members ensuring that members receive appropriate and affordable funeral cover solutions. The role focuses on generating new business, maintaining strong member relationships, achieving sales targets, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Job Outputs:

• Market and sell IMAS Funeral Insurance products to prospective and existing members.
• Conduct comprehensive client needs analyses to identify appropriate funeral cover solutions.
• Provide compliant financial advice in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Service and support new and existing members to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure the accurate completion and submission of all new business documentation.
• Conduct quality control checks on all applications to ensure completeness and compliance.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with members through ongoing engagement and service.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell appropriate financial products and services.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
• Maintain accurate client records and administrative documentation.
• Deliver professional customer service while upholding the values and reputation of IMAS Funeral Insurance

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric/Grade 12
• FAIS credits on NQF level 4 as per FSCA legislative requirements
• RE5 as per FSCA legislative requirements
• At least 1 year proven sales experience, preferably in the Financial Services Industry
• Code 8 Valid SA Drivers Licence (manual transmission)
