Job summary

Absa Insurance & Financial Advice (Pty) Ltd is seeking a FAIS-licensed financial adviser with 2–3 years in long-term insurance and investments. The role requires performing financial needs analyses, building client relationships, and delivering compliant recommendations.

You will prepare quotes, obtain client consent, and manage the end-to-end advisory process. The adviser will regularly review client needs, present tailored solutions, and adhere to Absa’s licensing and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of financial planning/advice in long-term insurance and investments.
• NQF 5 FSB qualification with 120 FAIS credits.
• RE 5 Certification.
• Fit and proper for FAIS licensed adviser.
• Ability to perform Financial Needs Analysis (FNA) for investments, life insurance, and estate planning.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, advisers and stakeholders.
• Assess client needs using analysis tools and present full value propositions.
• Prepare recommendations and quotes for risk and investment solutions per FAIS regulations.
• Present recommendations to clients and obtain consent; ensure compliant process.
• Complete compliance documentation and submit proposals to product providers.
• Review client portfolios at least annually and update strategies accordingly.
