Absa Group in Somerset West is seeking a Financial Adviser AIFA for Everyday Banking. The role requires FAIS licensing, RE 5 and 120 FAIS credits, and 2–3 years of financial planning/advice experience in long-term insurance and investments.

You will perform needs analyses, craft recommendations, and manage client relationships while maintaining compliance. The adviser will follow Absa’s processes, develop a book of business, and participate in relationship-building with clients and stakeholders

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2-3 years Financial Planning / Advice in Long-term Insurance and investment.
• NQF 5 FAIS approved qualification (120 FAIS Credits).
• RE 5 Certification.
• Fit and proper for typical license categories.
• Follow the FAIS six-step financial planning process.

Aufgaben

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, bank personnel, product providers and adviser support staff.
• Participate in leads, sales and pipeline meetings to identify opportunities.
• Assess client needs using needs analysis tools to present value propositions.
• Prepare recommendations and quotes for risk and investment solutions.
• Present recommendations to clients and ensure FAIS compliance.
• Follow the designated client engagement process and provide regular feedback to regional management.
• Network with Everyday Banking stakeholders to position the adviser value proposition.
• Maintain ongoing client reviews to ensure continued suitability and opportunity cultivation.
