Job summary

Financial Intelligence Centre in Centurion is seeking a dedicated software tester to join the Information and Communication Technology team on a permanent basis. You will design and execute manual test cases, track defects, and support UAT with business stakeholders.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of testing experience, ISTQB Foundation Level Certification or equivalent, and hands-on use of Azure DevOps, JIRA, Xray and Confluence.

Qualifications

• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification or equivalent ISEB certification is preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant manual software testing experience including test analysis, design, execution and defect tracking, preferably in financial services or regulatory environments.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, Xray and Confluence.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, QA practices and testing methodologies.
• Experience in Functional, CIT, System, SIT, Risk-based testing and UAT.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and perform detailed test reviews of system documentation (BRS, FRS).
• Identify and document issues, gaps and risks in requirements.
• Design, maintain and execute test cases using appropriate techniques.
• Ensure test entry/exit criteria are met per methodologies.
• Collaborate with ICT teams and stakeholders on testing activities.
• Coordinate UAT with business stakeholders and ensure tests are executable.
• Provide test progress and defect reports to stakeholders.
• Log clear defects with evidence and track till closure.
• Participate in retrospectives and contribute to process improvements.
