Job summary

JVR Software in Centurion is seeking a Finance Administrator to manage the end-to-end payment process, including vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and staff claims. You will ensure timely processing and accuracy while monitoring expenses and maintaining cashflow.

You will also focus on collections, improve outstanding receivables, maintain accounting records, assist with AP/AR reporting, and liaise with banks, vendors, and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end payment process, including vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and expense monitoring. Review and approve staff claims
• Ensure the efficient collection of outstanding receivables, follow up on overdue accounts, and implement strategies to improve collection efficiency
• Implement and improve payment and collection processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Manage daily cashflow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs and financial commitments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including the daily cashbooks and transaction entries
• Assist in financial reporting related to AP and AR, providing insights for decision-making
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, vendors, and auditors, on payment and collection matters
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Undertake any other finance-related tasks as assigned by management
