Job summary

JVR Software in Tshwane is seeking a finance professional to oversee end-to-end accounting processes and ensure timely payments and accurate cash management. The role covers month-end closing, vendor payments, employee reimbursements and expense monitoring, with oversight of staff claims and collections.

You will maintain daily cashbooks, assist with AP/AR reporting, and liaise with banks, vendors and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Complete month-end closing for the entity
• Manage end-to-end payment processes, including vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and expense monitoring
• Review and approve staff claims
• Improve collection efficiency by following up on overdue accounts
• Implement and improve payment and collection processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Manage daily cashflow, ensuring liquidity for operations and commitments
• Maintain accurate accounting records, including daily cashbooks and entries
• Assist in financial reporting related to AP and AR
• Liaise with banks, vendors and auditors on payment and collection matters
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Undertake other finance-related tasks as assigned by management
