Job summary

60 Degrees is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance Operations and Data to lead the end-to-end transactional finance operations spanning Billings, Collections, Accounts Payable, and Finance Data Operations. The role provides leadership, structure, and consistency while driving automation and AI integration to optimize workflows and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing financial operations (AP, AR, Billings) and finance data functions with leadership.
• Hands-on skills in finance operations automation and practical use of AI tools within financial workflows.
• Strong leadership to manage, mentor, and scale teams across transactional disciplines.
• Experience leading time-sensitive projects and an understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and working capital.
• Experience driving efficiency and data governance via automation and data warehouses.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with modern ERP systems, billing software, and financial data management platforms.
• CA(SA) designation or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily operations across Billings, Collections, Accounts Payable, and Finance Data Operations.
• Provide guidance on escalations, process improvements, and uniform financial procedures.
• Champion finance operations automation using AI tools and data warehouses to optimize workflows.
• Monitor and report key operational and working capital metrics and data governance metrics.
• Mentor and develop functional managers and teams, fostering high performance.
• Partner with Treasury, Accounting, Tax, and IT/Systems for seamless data integration.
• Identify and implement best practices for financial operations and data management.
• Create a high-control environment with process mapping, risk and controls.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements across AP/AR.
• Other duties as assigned by the Company.
