Job summary

Odfjell Drilling AS is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial reporting, accounting, and internal controls across the group in a senior, hands-on capacity. You will ensure IFRS and local GAAP compliance while guiding global accounting teams.

The role collaborates with VP Finance & Business Management and the Governance team to drive process improvements, tax/compliance oversight, and reliable financial information for stakeholders in an international setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years’ relevant experience in accounting, audit, or finance (Big Four preferred).
• Strong technical expertise in IFRS, local GAAP, and internal controls.
• Experience with tax and VAT regulations and financial reporting.
• Experience working in international environments and group reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor quality and integrity of financial accounting and reporting across entities.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, assets, leases, and capital projects accounting.
• Ensure alignment with IFRS, local GAAP, and corporate policies.
• Oversee period-end and year-end processes across legal entities.
• Strengthen internal control frameworks and documentation.
• Act as primary finance contact for auditors and external advisors.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to controllers and finance teammates.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
