Job summary

Oasis Group Holdings is seeking an experienced finance professional to take ownership of a broad and impactful finance leadership mandate within the Group.

The successful candidate will lead the Group accounting function, strengthen governance, oversee IFRS reporting and consolidations, drive budgeting and forecasting, deliver timely management packs, and provide strategic financial insight to support executive decisions and board engagements.

Qualifications

• A professional finance qualification (CA(SA) preferred).
• Strong experience in financial reporting, IFRS and consolidations.
• Proven experience leading finance/accounting functions or significant finance portfolios.
• Exposure to governance, controls and executive-level reporting.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate financial information into business insights.
• The confidence and maturity to engage with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and strengthen the Group accounting function, ensuring effective governance, controls and operational excellence
• Oversee financial reporting, IFRS compliance, consolidations and statutory reporting requirements
• Review and sign off management accounts, consolidated financial statements and financial reporting packs
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and performance reporting processes
• Prepare and review reporting for Executive Management, Board and Audit Committee engagements
• Oversee treasury activities, cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning and stakeholder management
• Develop and improve finance processes, systems and automation initiatives
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls, policies and procedures
• Provide strategic financial insight and advice to support business decisions
• Lead, mentor and develop finance professionals across the organisation
