Placements24 seeks a seasoned Finance Manager for its Soweto FMCG operations. The role oversees FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, with emphasis on strategic planning and control across departments.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of finance experience, IFRS/GAAP knowledge, and strong leadership capabilities. On-site role with competitive package and growth opportunities within a expanding FMCG group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualifications are desirable.
• 7–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, FMCG preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, tax regulations and compliance.
• Proven leadership, analytical and decision‑making abilities.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all financial operations including FP&A, budgeting and forecasting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability.
• Prepare timely management reports, accounts and board presentations.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and resource optimization.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Lead and mentor finance and accounting teams to high performance.
• Collaborate with department heads on budgets and cost controls.
• Maintain internal controls and data integrity; provide strategic financial insights.
