Job summary

RecruiTech is seeking an accomplished Finance Manager to oversee the entire finance function from reporting to strategic analysis, within a Gauteng-based operation.

The role requires leading a finance team, strong IFRS and SA tax knowledge, and experience with audits, budgeting and forecasting to drive business performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years in a finance environment.
• 3–5 years in a Finance Manager or Senior Financial Accountant role.
• Proven leadership of a finance team.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African tax legislation.
• Experience managing audits and statutory submissions.
• Experience in Courier/Logistics/Transport/Distribution industries.
• Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA, ACCA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the overall finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Lead the month-end close, management accounts and financial analysis.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across the business.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, debtors and creditors.
• Ensure compliance with South African tax legislation, IFRS and statutory requirements.
• Manage VAT, PAYE and other statutory submissions and reconciliations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure ongoing audit readiness.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost control, financial processes and operational efficiencies.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, driving accountability and performance.
• Provide commercial financial insights to senior management and operational stakeholders.
• Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Ensure financial systems, controls and data remain accurate and effective.
• Support strategic business decisions through financial analysis, reporting and forecasting.
