Job summary

Takora Pty Ltd is looking for a senior accounting professional with CA(SA)/CIMA/SAIPA credentials to lead financial reporting, taxation, and IFRS compliance. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years post-articles experience and be a Commissioner of Oaths.

Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with Xero and Pastel Partner are preferred, with added value for property or project accounting exposure. Cape Town-based role requiring on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field is required.
• CA(SA) with 4+ years post-articles experience, or professional registration with CIMA or SAIPA.
• Commissioner of Oaths is required.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Taxation, and Financial Reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience in property, real estate, or project accounting is advantageous.
• Experience with Xero and Pastel Partner is advantageous.

Applicants must have the following requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Must be registered as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with 4+ years of post-articles experience; or
• Must be professionally registered with CIMA or SAIPA.
• Must be a Commissioner of Oaths.
• Must have strong technical knowledge of IFRS, Taxation, and Financial Reporting.
• Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and perform effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience within the property, real estate, or project accounting sector will be advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Xero and Pastel Partner accounting software will be advantageous.
