Job summary

Be Different in Gauteng seeks an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance function across regions, focusing on project accounting, WIP, profitability and revenue recognition. You will develop tender costing models, drive management reporting, and support executives with financial analysis.

The role requires a CA(SA) or equivalent, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, and 5–10+ years’ project accounting experience, with proven leadership of teams of 12 or more and external

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or commerce is required.
• CA(SA), ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA or equivalent professional qualification is required.
• 5–10+ years in project accounting, contract accounting or similar project-based industries.
• Experience with operational finance, job costing, WIP accounting, project profitability and revenue recognition.
• Developing and maintaining tender costing models and templates.
• Preparing management accounts, board packs, budgets, forecasts and year-end packs.
• Managing external audits and statutory reporting.
• Leading finance teams of 8–15 staff.
