Qualifications

• Registered CA (SA) having passed the Board Exams on 1st attempt.
• Good working knowledge on Accounting Packages (Pastel, Oracle, Caseware, MDA, etc.)
• Masters in Business Administration, Taxation or Accounting is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years post articles experience.
• Experience in financial services, audit, investment, or transaction advisory roles is preferred.
• Strong technical grounding in IFRS, financial reporting and analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high integrity and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and execution of the firm’s financial strategy and reporting function.
• Deliver high quality financial and management reports to support business insight and decision-making.
• Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements ensuring IFRS compliance.
• Collaborate with investment, compliance and operations teams to align reporting with performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling for internal planning.
• Drive continuous improvement in controls, systems and reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax, audit and regulatory obligations.
• Participate in or lead special projects such as M&A, valuations, due diligence or strategic reviews.
• Contribute to a culture of excellence, integrity and accountability.
