Job summary

Exceed HR and Recruitment is seeking a Financial Administrator for a permanent position based in Hermanus, Western Cape. You will prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, assist with budget preparation, and manage statutory compliance and payroll processes.

The role requires strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, cashbooks and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Understanding of statutory compliance, payroll and related submissions.
• Experience with accounts payable, supplier payments and invoice processing.
• Knowledge of debtor management, levy billing and utility recoveries.
• Proficiency in payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, budget variance analyses and age analyses.
• Assist with annual budget preparation, approval and system uploads.
• Manage statutory compliance, including CSOS payments, UIF, Workmen’s Compensation and EMP201 submissions.
• Process monthly payroll, payslips and salary payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records, cashbooks and bank reconciliations using WeConnectU.
• Process supplier invoices, verify budget allocations and manage scheduled payments.
• Manage monthly levy billing, utility recoveries, owner statements and debit order mandates.
• Monitor outstanding accounts, follow up on arrears and coordinate legal handovers where necessary.
• Maintain separate Administrative and Reserve Fund records and ensure audit readiness.
• Uphold company values through professional communication, accountability, confidentiality and continuous improvement.
