Job summary

Zohorecruit is representing an Industrial Automation client in the Pinetown area seeking a Technical Sales Representative. The role focuses on growing VFD and PLC sales, identifying new opportunities, and maintaining relationships with existing VSD/PLC customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience with VFDs/PLCs, a reliable vehicle for local travel, and familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office tools. The role requires independent work and the ability to travel locally in KwaZulu-Natal.

Qualifications

• Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and PLCs is advantageous.
• Own vehicle required.
• Ability to travel locally and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Make sales calls with other reps or directly to accounts to meet sales goals.
• Develop business for VFDs and PLCs in the region through prospecting and marketing activities.
• Follow up on quotes and provide feedback to management.
• Grow the sales pipeline to meet targets.
• Provide sales reports monthly on progress and targets.
