Placements24 is seeking a hands-on Field Supervisor to oversee daily field operations at the Soweto facility in Gauteng. You will lead operational staff, manage resources, and ensure safe, efficient execution of oil and gas production tasks.

The role requires 5+ years in field operations within Oil & Gas, with at least 2 years in supervision. Strong leadership, safety focus, and ability to travel to field sites are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a relevant discipline preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of field operations experience in Oil & Gas industry.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of field operations personnel.
• Ensure all field activities adhere to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) policies.
• Monitor operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage field equipment and resources, ensuring proper maintenance and utilization.
• Liaise with project managers, engineering teams, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
• Train and mentor field staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
