Placements24 is seeking a hands-on Field Supervisor to oversee daily field operations at our Soweto facility in Gauteng. You will lead a team of operational staff to ensure safe, efficient execution of oil and gas tasks while maintaining productivity and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in Oil & Gas operations, strong leadership, solid safety knowledge, and the ability to perform in a demanding field environment. A valid driver's license is needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an operational or supervisory role within Oil & Gas.
• Strong understanding of field operations, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a demanding field environment in Soweto.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field operations personnel.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Manage work permits and ensure all tasks are conducted safely.
• Provide guidance and training to team members, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Report on operational performance, issues, and resource utilization to management.
