Placements24 seeks an experienced Field Operations Supervisor to oversee upstream oil and gas production in the Benoni area. You will lead a team of field operators and technicians, manage resources, and ensure adherence to procedures and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field operations within the oil and gas sector and demonstrate leadership and problem-solving capabilities for dynamic field environments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant technical certification in Petroleum Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in upstream oil and gas field operations.
• Proven experience supervising field personnel and managing operational activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of field operators and technicians engaged in production operations.
• Ensure safe execution of all field operations, including compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
• Monitor production performance, identify operational issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage equipment and asset integrity, overseeing routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Coordinate with drilling, maintenance, and engineering teams to support operational objectives.
• Maintain accurate operational logs, reports, and daily production data.
