Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or in a hands-on technical role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the Richards Bay region.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Technical certifications or vocational training are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations of new equipment according to technical specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance and diagnostic checks on installed systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Respond promptly to service calls and resolve issues timely.
• Provide technical support and guidance on operation and maintenance.
• Document all service activities in the reporting system.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company protocols on-site.
• Manage and maintain a service vehicle and spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with internal support to share technical insights.
• Ensure client satisfaction with high-quality service.
