Placements24 is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician specializing in HVAC systems to join our Johannesburg team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and residential climate control equipment on-site.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, installation, and on-site documentation, with a focus on reliability and client satisfaction. A valid driver’s license and strong customer service skills are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency service calls promptly and effectively resolve issues on-site.
• Maintain accurate service records, parts inventory, and client documentation using mobile field service tools.
• Collaborate with the dispatch team to manage schedules and ensure timely service delivery across the Johannesburg region.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC technician with a strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and control logic.
• Relevant trade certifications or qualifications in HVAC installation and repair.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and hand/power tools specific to HVAC work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record for travel between client sites.
