Placements24 is seeking a qualified HVAC Technician to join our operations team in Cape Town, Western Cape. You will install, maintain and repair HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties, ensuring reliable climate control and timely service.

The ideal candidate has HVAC certification, extensive knowledge of refrigeration cycles, and a valid driver's license to cover the Western Cape. You will work independently and as part of a team, with opportunities for training and career

Qualifications

• Certification in HVAC or a related trade is required.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components.
• Driver's license and willingness to travel within Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair a variety of HVAC systems including split units and central AC.
• Diagnose complex issues using diagnostic tools and testing instruments.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure efficient operation.
• Respond to emergency service calls and address urgent HVAC problems promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Ensure all work complies with safety, industry standards, and environmental guidelines.
