Job summary

Buraaq Mining is seeking an experienced Field Service Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations across client sites in the Gauteng region. The role requires coordinating technicians, resources, and schedules to ensure timely service delivery and quality workmanship.

Applicants should have a Trade certificate, Grade 12, and 3-5 years' experience in mining or heavy equipment field service or site-based management, along with a valid driver’s license and proficiency in English and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate and Grade 12 qualification are required; additional qualification advantageous.
• 3-5 years' experience in field service or site-based management, preferably in mining or heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
• English proficiency, computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead day-to-day field service operations across client sites.
• Schedule and allocate technicians and resources to site jobs.
• Control job costing, scope compliance and labour allocation.
• Lead performance management and skills development within the field team.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through timely service delivery and quality workmanship.
• Conduct site inspections and manage breakdown and maintenance response times.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal departments.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic growth plans.
