Job summary

Philips in Cape Town invites a motivated engineering graduate to join as an intern. You will provide technical support on operational or maintenance aspects of various Philips system equipment, perform faultfinding and planned maintenance, and assist Field Service Engineers in the field as needed.

You'll diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures using established procedures, operating relatively autonomously within set guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate with at least 60% in engineering-related studies.
• South African graduate status with completed modules/credits.
• Eligible for internship with relevant engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on operational/maintenance aspects of Philips equipment.
• Perform faultfinding and planned maintenance of Philips systems.
• Assist Field Service Engineers in the field as required.
• Serve as secondary customer contact on technical and service issues.
• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and system failures per established procedures.
• Work autonomously within defined procedures, methods and techniques.

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering
