Job summary

Chainlink Recruitment is seeking a proactive Sales Representative to drive meat and protein sales in Pretoria’s informal sector. The role requires daily field travel, building strong customer relationships and meeting sales targets while promoting promotions and value offers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in informal sector sales, preferably in meat, protein or FMCG distribution, excellent communication, and a reliable, self-driven attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales within the informal sector is advantageous.
• Experience in meat, protein or FMCG distribution is advantageous.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily sales route.
• Reliable, self-motivated and target-driven.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Sell and distribute meat and protein products in the informal sector.
• Territory management across Pretoria.
• Travel daily to meet sales targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with informal market customers.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales and customer spend.
• Handle sales administration and ad hoc duties.
• Promote available products, specials and value offerings.
