Job summary

Kontak Recruitment in Pretoria is seeking an External Sales Representative to generate new business, manage client relationships, and grow market share in the food and beverage sector.

The role requires self-motivation, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team. Salary is R15 000 per month plus Commission, company car, fuel, cell phone and laptop.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own reliable vehicle preferred.
• Minimum 2 years sales experience advantageous.
• Ability to generate own leads and source new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
• Identify and develop new customer relationships within the assigned territory.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Schedule and attend client meetings and sales presentations.
• Manage and plan daily and weekly sales routes effectively.
• Achieve sales targets and maximise commission-earning opportunities.
• Conduct regular customer visits and follow-ups.
• Source and manage leads independently.
• Handle all sales-related administration accurately and timeously.
