Placements24 is seeking a Field Sales Engineer in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, to promote and sell medical devices to hospitals and clinics. The role combines technical demonstrations with strategic sales acumen and extensive travel within the territory.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in medical device sales or as a clinical applications specialist, with a proven track record of meeting targets and strong communication skills. Travel and a valid driver Davidce are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Science, or a related healthcare field.
• 3–5 years of experience in medical device sales or as a clinical application specialist.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell a portfolio of medical devices to healthcare professionals and institutions.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory targets.
• Conduct in-depth product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, surgeons, hospital administrators, and procurement managers.
• Identify customer needs and provide effective solutions using our client19s product offerings.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients.
• Collaborate with marketing to provide market feedback and insights.
• Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and workshops to network and generate leads.
• Manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and CRM data.
