Job summary

Rsaweb seeks a Service Technician to join their Randburg team, delivering maintenance, repair and on-site support for client equipment across sites in Gauteng. The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, fault diagnosis, and customer interaction, with travel as required.

The ideal candidate has electrical engineering qualifications, a minimum of 3 years in control systems, and proficiency with electronics or pneumatics, plus strong communication skills and a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Control Systems.
• Experience with Electronics and/or Pneumatic Systems.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults on industrial equipment.
• Experience with equipment commissioning and customer support.
• Strong understanding of maintenance practices and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Willingness to travel locally, cross-border, and after-hours when required.
• Experience with spare parts management, warranty claims, and technical reporting will be advantageous.
• Ability to provide internal technical and sales support.

Responsibilities

• Technical support to customers via telephone and on-site visits.
• Commissioning and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Attending breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
• Technical reporting and record keeping.
• Warranty claim administration.
• Maintaining quality and ISO compliance requirements.
