Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a diligent Installation & Maintenance Technician to join our field-service team serving the Soweto area. You will install, test, and configure equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and respond to on-site service calls to ensure maximum uptime and customer satisfaction.
The role requires hands-on technical ability, problem-solving skills, and strong communication to interact with clients and document maintenance activities. A valid driver’s license is preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience as Installation & Maintenance Technician or similar field.
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test equipment and systems per procedures.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and perform repairs.
- Respond to service calls on-site with professional support.
- Maintain accurate records of installation and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols during all operations.
