Placements24 is seeking a skilled Commercial Appliances Service Engineer to join our Centurion team. This field-based role involves installing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration units, and related equipment for hospitality, healthcare, and food service clients.

You will diagnose issues with test equipment, perform preventative maintenance, keep precise service records, and travel regularly to client sites within Centurion and surrounding

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service engineer for commercial appliances.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues.
• Willingness to travel within Centurion area.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair a diverse range of commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration units, and other specialized equipment.
• Diagnose technical issues using appropriate testing equipment and provide effective solutions.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and performance.
• Respond to service calls promptly and efficiently, addressing client concerns with professionalism.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records, including parts used, labor time, and recommendations for future service.
• Advise clients on best practices for equipment operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the sales and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and advancements in commercial appliance service.
