Placements24 in Soweto is seeking a detail-oriented Broadband Network Planner to design and plan the expansion of our client's broadband network, focusing on FTTH/FTTB deployments.

You will conduct feasibility studies, analyze capacity, map networks with GIS and CAD, and collaborate with engineering and operations to implement plans across Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in telecommunications network planning for broadband (FTTH/FTTB).

• Strong analytical and spatial reasoning; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed network designs for broadband expansion (fiber and wireless).
• Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and capacity planning.
• Create and maintain network maps and diagrams using GIS and CAD.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to implement plans.
