The role requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of IP/MPLS and 5G NR, with collaboration across engineering, operations and marketing to align network plans with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in network planning, design, or engineering within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong understanding of network architectures, protocols (e.g., IP, MPLS, 5G NR), and capacity planning principles.
• Proficiency in network modeling and simulation tools is a significant advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current network performance, traffic patterns, and growth trends to forecast future capacity requirements.
• Develop long-term and short-term network expansion and upgrade plans, including site acquisition and technology deployment strategies.
• Evaluate new technologies and their potential impact on network architecture and performance.
• Create detailed network designs and deployment schematics for new infrastructure and service rollouts.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of network plans with business objectives.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management on network status, future plans, and investment recommendations.
