Qualifications

• Proven experience in fiber optic cable installation, splicing, and testing.
• Proficiency with fiber optic testing equipment (e.g., OTDR, power meters, light sources).
• Understanding of fiber optic network design principles and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and splice fiber optic cables in various environments, adhering to industry standards.
• Perform testing and diagnostics on fiber optic networks using specialized equipment such as OTDRs.
• Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic network faults, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Conduct site surveys and provide technical recommendations for fiber deployment projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all fiber optic network installations and repairs.
