Ideal candidates will have experience in e-commerce merchandising, familiarity with Shopify or WooCommerce, strong copywriting, and data skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in e-commerce merchandising or retail operations.
• Familiarity with Shopify or WooCommerce.
• Strong eye for detail and organizational skills.
• Good copywriting and editing for product descriptions.
• Basic SEO understanding for product pages.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Passion for fashion and online retail.
• Must be able to commute to Bloemfontein.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update product listings across the e-commerce platform, including descriptions, specifications, pricing, and imagery.
• Optimize product pages for SEO and user experience to improve visibility and conversion rates.
• Ensure all product information is accurate, consistent, and up-to-date.
• Create and maintain product categorization and navigation structures to facilitate easy browsing.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and merchandising elements.
• Analyze sales data and website analytics to identify best-selling products and trends, informing merchandising decisions.
• Monitor competitor websites for merchandising strategies and product presentation.
• Manage product sample inventory for photo shoots.
• Ensure high-quality product photography is displayed consistently.
• Assist in the planning and execution of seasonal online campaigns and visual merchandising efforts.
