Placements24 is seeking a proactive Farm Operations Coordinator to support comprehensive agricultural operations in Paarl. You will link farm management with field teams, coordinating resources, equipment, and personnel to meet production goals.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in farm operations, and familiarity with records, inventory, and logistics in a dynamic farming environment in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Experience in farm operations, logistics coordination, or administrative roles in agriculture.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with farm management software or general record-keeping tools.
• Basic understanding of agricultural principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily farm activities including labor deployment, equipment usage, and task scheduling.
• Manage inventory of seeds, fertilizers, and other inputs.
• Facilitate communication between farm management, field staff, and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate farm records on planting, harvesting, and expenses.
• Support maintenance and repairs coordination for farm equipment.
• Assist with compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
