Job summary

Key Recruitment Group is seeking a Factory Engineer for a well-established manufacturing company at the plant near Piet Retief, Mpumalanga. The role requires a B.Eng/B.Sc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and GCC factories, with extensive hands-on experience in industrial plants.

You will lead maintenance teams, manage CMMS, and drive ISO/compliance across the site. Salary around R1.1m per annum plus medical aid, pension, annual bonus, travel allowance and housing.

Qualifications

• B.Eng/B.Sc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• GCC factories required.
• 6 years' practical plant experience, including boiler operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage factory engineering projects, contractors and all site work.
• Oversee repairs, maintenance and construction programs to maximize uptime.
• Manage assets and budgets related to the site.
• Oversee safety, health and environment programs and compliance with OHS Act.
• Manage plant utilities and infrastructure.
• Ensure efficiency, productivity and quality of plant and processes.
• Ensure effective performance of subordinates and teams.
• Comply with ISO and Quality management Systems.
