Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Project Manager in the Benoni area to oversee diverse facilities management projects, from renovations to new facility services. The role combines on-site project oversight with remote administrative tasks, requiring strong coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field and has 4+ years of PM experience focused on facilities or building management, with solid knowledge of building systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, with a focus on facilities or building management projects.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and construction best practices.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute facilities-related projects (renovations, relocations, upgrades).
• Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and resources; manage through lifecycle.
• Oversee contractors and vendors, ensure work meets specs, safety standards, contracts.
• Conduct site inspections and meetings to monitor progress and address issues.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align projects with org goals.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, permits, and progress reports.
