Placements24 is seeking a skilled Project Manager with a background in engineering services to oversee diverse projects in Upington, Northern Cape. You will manage projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to specifications, safety standards, and budget constraints.

The role combines on-site technical oversight with strategic planning in a hybrid work environment, requiring strong leadership and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in project management within engineering services.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and project execution.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and resources.
• Degree in engineering or PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of engineering projects, including planning, design, procurement, execution, and closeout.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and clients to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.
• Oversee technical aspects of projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and safety standards are met.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing timely corrective actions.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports, financial summaries, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
